Karen Okner, president and show house producer, believes in artful living. She views each property she creates as a canvas celebrating the talents of pinnacle artisans, designers, and products, giving them the opportunity to shine in unmatched home environments. After producing Mesa Modern, one of the most successful Mid-century Modern design homes of Coachella Valley’s 2019 Modernism Week, her passion for curating and building show houses was ignited. Drawing on her 20-plus years of experience with fine art, graphic design, and gallery management, Karen was led to create the Design Collaborative, a collective of the best dream makers and builders in the business.

As a multi-generational real estate entrepreneur involved with more than 10,000 homes in his esteemed tenure, Eglit has been immersed in the real estate and construction industries since childhood. Under the helm of his father, also an established and successful developer, Eglit gleaned an inherent knowledge of the business and thrived on job sites from a young age.
Enamored with old-world-class craftsmanship early in his career, Eglit taught himself the discipline of carpentry beginning as a framer and successfully erecting dozens of homes before moving on to discover his true passion – Finish Carpentry. After turning his new passion into an entrepreneurial endeavor crafting hundreds of residential kitchens, Eglit then embarked on a 20-year role overseeing the construction and development of one of Los Angeles’ largest real estate investment firms.
In returning to his first love, Eglit opted to more readily pursue his carpentry passion and debuted Millworks by Design (MBD), a high-end Architectural Millwork company that has quickly grown to hold the position as one of the largest millwork companies in Southern California garnering the repeated attention from notable industry publishers to include Architectural Digest.
After managing the welcomed challenge of building out an institutional platform that included acquisition, construction and stabilization of more than 100 assets a month, Eglit identified a gap in the market for creating an improved vehicle to sell real estate. In 2018 Eglit started with the purchase of a small brokerage firm with 3 agents in one office and quickly grew that brand to achieve gross sales in excess of 200M per quarter, humbly securing a name synonymous with other luxury brokerages and top producers in Southern California by early 2020.
Informed by his diverse experiences and backed by an intimate team of curated collaborators, Eglit enjoys great satisfaction in helping people find a place to call Home, bringing his vision to broader, bi-coastal audiences with many exciting endeavors on the horizon.
