Donna Johnson

Donna Johnson has 38 years of professional experience as an interior designer for high-end commercial and residential clients. That number would be even higher if she counted the years she worked for her dad, a developer who built homes, starting at the age of 12. Helping out with his projects instilled a love of design and architecture. She fed that passion with an interior design degree from UCLA, graduating just a few weeks before giving birth to her fourth child. The next step was launching her own business in 1981. Today that business, Luxe-Design, is sought after by elite clientele to create premier commercial properties, private residences, and high-end developer’s projects internationally or global wide.

Johnson and her team work intimately with clients on every aspect of design from architecture to the artwork and from the floor plans to the furnishings.  She finds the biggest reward in showing clients a finished project. Using her creativity to make people happy is one of her favorite parts of her job. And her love for what she does has not gone unrecognized. Her work has earned numerous awards including BIA Designer of the Year, Parade of Homes Builder’s Award for Interior Design, and Best of Houzz Design for the past several years. Johnson has been named in Deluxe Version magazine’s Top 20 Women of the Year twice. Her work also has been featured in numerous digital and print publications including Luxury Magazine, Luxe Interiors + Design Magazine, and GG Magazine, Palm Springs Life and Las Vegas Review Journal.
